We are moving to a house in Solihull and would like have parts of it re-decorated prior to us moving our furniture etc in. The areas we would like redecorating are the through living dining room and the hall,stairs and landing area. The living dining room is a 28ft room and is currently covered in wallpaper which would need stripping. If the walls are slightly dented then some filling and sanding would be required. We would like the walls and ceilings painted and the woodwork glossed. We would also like similar doing in the hall, stairs, landing area. The house would be empty during the period of redecoration. We would need someone who is available from the 10th July to do this work as we would need to move in shortly afterwards.
We concur with the many other reviews on here. Jason has done a fantastic job re-decorating our living room, hall stairs & landing and two bedrooms. His quote was very competitive and the quality of his work did not disappoint. He has a great attention to detail and even managed to work to the deadline that we had. We would definitely not hesitate to call Jason if and when we have more work. Thanks Jason!

4 exterior doors and an inner porch door, woodwork above front door, 4 front windows (1 a bay), 8 rear windows (5 being sash, 1 a bay), barge boards and garage doors and garage frame. 8 stone lintels to be painted with masonry paint. Exterior painting is a couple of years overdue and, although the wood is sound, it will require thorough prep and new undercoat. There is a fair amount of putty repair. Keen to get a good job done. Not a job for someone who cuts corners.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Tim as a thorough, professional and reliable painter. His quote was on a par with others' 'proper' quotes but I chose Tim because I sensed a high level of openness and honesty - this proved to be the case in practice. The only slight mark down was that he appeared to have had pressure to get on to the next job and so finished in an uncharacteristic hurry leaving things a little untidy and lacking that last 5% attention to detail I'm sure he would expect of himself.

Excellent job completed quickly and efficiently. Also spotted another unseen issue which, if unleft, would have caused us significant problems. Great job, thank you.
