Budget Under £2,000

Job I am looking for a really good painter/ decorator to paint the walls of the lounge, dining room, hallway and landing. I would like all woodwork painted including the banister and the ceiling in the lounge and dining room. I also have 2 newly fitted alcove cupboards in the dining room that require sanding and painting. The walls are all plastered and painted (no wallpaper) but may require some touch up work in some areas where nails ect have been. I’m looking for a professional job from an experienced tradesman, who can supply samples of their work I live in Solihull, West midlands.

Comment I had all of my woodwork and walls painted throughout the downstairs of my house. Phil and his team were very professional and did and excellent job. They were punctual and finished the work to the timescale agreed. They were plesent people to have in the house and kept the mess to a minimum. Their quote was also very competitive. I would definitely recommend this tradesman if your looking for someone with a lot of experience who takes pride in his work. Laura

Budget Under £250

Job 1 bedroom requiring ceiling and walls painted. Also needs treating for spots of mould on some areas of 2 walls and around the edge on the ceiling, also and around the window where the mould is more servere. Already have paint for walls.

Job Easy access via ladder. Must repair and seal the leak over the door - minor wooodwork replacement and roofing felt and sealant needed. Paint bargeboard at first floor level and 3 adjacent small wooden window frames.

Budget I'm not sure

Job Hall, landing and staircase walls of terraced 3 bedroom house require painting, hallway is currently papered and will need to be stripped, and possibly skimmed, all other walls ready to paint. Work includes glossing of banister, skirting board, loft hatch and facing door frames of 6 doors (doors themselves will not need to be done). Glossing of interior of front door and frame (some gaps between frame and wall need to be filled). Second part of work is painting of third bedroom (small single room), two of the walls will need to be stripped and prepared, possibly requiring replastering.
