"quality..finish was terrible..nothing was sanded down properly leaving dents, bumps and runs and also gaps in the wallpaper, paint was left on the window paynes and door handles/letterbox value..bumps up the charges for several items i.e �15 for paste to hang 2 rolls of paper over supplies paint(at you cost) then keeps the excessive amounts. reliabilty,,,turned up on time..only thing they did right in short sloppy greedy and unprofessioanl. would i recommend them? never! would i use them again? never in a million years!!"

"i would never recommend this trades person for several reasons. 1. the price is over inflated and does not reflect the cost of the materials used (ensure you get a breakdown of the costs BEFORE you take his quotes) he charged me �15 for paste to hang 1.5 rolls of wallpaper to a chimney breast, also charged me for twice as much undercoat than gloss even though he did one coat of undercoat and two coats of gloss? this is repeated on 10 litres of emulsion used to paint the room with 5 litres of base coat for the walls.he actually charged me for 15 litres of emulsion for 3 coats to one room?? 2. the workmanship is sloppy leaving me with paint on my windows , carpet, door sign, letter box and door handles, the quote was for rubbing down and preparing all surfaces prior to decoarting this was never done leaving my fire place with indentations, bumps and runs, and a gap between peices of wallpaper that was blamed on the paper? if this was the case why didnt every sheet of paper look the same? 4. they over estimate on paint and remove as much of the acess as possible, so ensure you keep every tin that is charged to you, when i asked for the remaining paint to be returned to me after seeing the bill i was told it would be delivered later..it never was. be very specific about what you are paying for as his quotes state glidens/mcphersons and the quality between the two is emmence and you do not know which he will use. in short ..would i recommend this firm..not to my worst enemy would i ever use them again? never in a million years!"
