Approx 7 doors, stairs and walls (two flights) bedroom, en suite, two other bedrooms tidy up lounge tidy up, one small cloakroom, kitchen/breakfast room plus few odd jobs to finish not sure of area involved (3 bed 3 storey house)
This is the only tradesman you sent me. He has been round to quote and is doing my work at the end of September - he seems very professional but I will let you know when the job is done!

would like a price for painting a fairly large hall, stair well and landing. Walls are plasterboard, we have paint already

Good evening I came across your website on google. I am trying to arrange for the living room in my new house to be decorated. The house is located in Redhouse, Swindon. The current owner has painted it a light blue which is not to my taste. I am basically looking for it to be painted a neutral colour with perhaps a feature wall of wallpaper. The house is only 4 years old so the walls are in good condition. It is relatively small 16' x 13' In summary I only require the walls decorated as the woodwork is fine. I know this is only a estimate but could you give me a quote for : 1. walls painted matt with one wall wall papered 2. as above but also ceiling and coving painted matt white. Also what brand of paint do you use? will i buy this myself or can you provide? I look forward to your reply. Thanks Gary

To wallpaper one wall and paint rest of room (living room) Wallpapered wall 15 foot 9 length x 7 foot 10 height. The to be painted walls are various measurements and some with doors. Back wall is 14 foot 2 but has a double french door taking up most of wall. Also a 9 foot 8 wall, a 6 foot 6 wall with an internal door within that, a 7 foot wall and a 3 foot 2 wall (all measurements = length). Painted walls will be one colour Job to be done on a saturday or over 2/3 saturdays.

I am moving into a new house w/c 24th September and with a new baby and a husband not keen on DIY I am looking for a professional painter to help me so we can move in properly the following week. There are 5 double bedrooms, utility room, 2 bathrooms and a living rooms. All of these rooms have 'feature walls' of which I'm not that keen on the colour. Until I get into th house on 24.09.12 I'm not too sure if it wiill only require these walls to be painted (or maybe wallpapered) or if the entire room walls will need sorting. There are also some walls that have little holes in that will need some prep work to be carried our before work begins.
