Square hole in bathroom ceiling that needs fixing (had to be cut to see in ceiling recess). Nail pops from floor above. Tape where the wall and ceiling meet needs fixing - only a length of approx 1.5 ft. Ceiling requires the fixing - not sure if plaster in parts or the whole ceiling. Bathroom size is approx 5ft x 8ft.
David arrived on time. Was very tidy throughout job, laying dust sheets, covering all surfaces, cleaning up after himself. Very helpful. Value for money. Would highly recommend.

Stripping the walls in one of the bedrooms revealed pretty poor condition and numerous cracks. We would like to have the walls plastered so that they are fit for painting. There is possibly one more wall in another bedroom that may need the work but that needs to be confirmed. The house is 1900 terrace, bedroom size 4.4m x 3.7m.
Andy did a great job plastering two of our bedrooms. We'd definitely recommend him and we'd use him again.

If you’ve ever tried plastering a wall, you’ll know that it’s not as easy as it first appears. So rather than tackling such a major home renovation job yourself, it’s advisable to call in the expert skills of a professional plasterer.

Plasterers apply plaster to internal walls and ceilings to create a finish that is suitable for paint and wallpaper. As well as plastering walls in new builds and home extensions, a plasterer can also repair existing walls which have suffered damage.

Plasterers can be called upon to create a smooth surface for redecorating, as well as to apply more ornamental and decorative features such as patterned ceilings.

In addition to plastering walls on the inside of the house, many plasterers also provide rendering services for external walls. Rendering is the process of applying a layer of plaster-like ‘render’ to outside facing walls for cosmetic purposes, as well as to protect the walls from weathering. Rendering can be an effective way of protecting brickwork, extending the lifespan and reducing the long term maintenance costs of your home.

The render itself traditionally consists of cement, lime and sand, though premixed render and acrylic render are also used in modern rendering, offering faster drying times and increased durability. But the real selling point of rendered walls is their appearance. A wide range of finishes and textures can be applied to realistically create the illusion of surfaces such as marble and sandstone.
