I have a 4.2 m x 3.3 m lounge. There is approx 2/3 of the ceiling that needs plaster boarding and skimming. It is dried out and the room is clear. I am at home until Tue am, ideally I would love for this to be done this weekend, but this can be done next week. I am happy to pay cash but would appreciate a quote first. I can send images. Thank you.
I wasn't sure tradesmen like this still existed!
I had a large hole in my ceiling and was desperate to get it sorted. I entered my job on Ratedpeople.com on Sat afternoon (of Easter weekend) within minutes I had a call from JDT Plastering, 45 mins later they came round, gave me a really fair quote and said they'd be there first thing (on Easter Sunday!) They were on time, tidy, friendly, proffesional and did a great job. I will use JDT again and recommend to everyone I know.melanie
Hi,
I have a small area of wall in a period property, underneath a sash window, where a rotten window frame has caused damp to infiltrate under the window and cause localised damage to the plasterwork. The frame has been replaced and the damp has I think long since dried out, but the plasterwork has crumbled away from the wall and I am now looking to get it repaired.
I would be grateful if you could get in touch if you would be interested in the job and let me know timescales and a ballpark figure (if possible).
NB: I often cannot answer my phone during the day, so email can work better in the first instance.
Many thanks,
Keith
Birds have pecked away 2 metres of pebbledashed render underneath my bay widow. Looking for this to be repaired and sprayed with ammonia sulphate to prevent repeat.
Really happy with the work Mark carried out. Mark was friendly, professional and reliable. I required some external render to be repaired and was worried about the join and colour match. Mark visited the house twice before starting the job to make sure he was fully prepared. After seeing this dry over the last week, Mark did a great job of matching this. Mark also repaired another small part of our wall without prompting. Thank you and would recommend and use again.Edward
Replastering and making good of stripped bathroom, including ceiling. Approx. size of room is 2.2m x 2.2m
Duane did an excellent job for a full re-plastering / skimming of a bathroom including ceiling. Good communication before starting, a competitive quote, quick and tidy working and an excellent finish ready to be tiled. Would thoroughly recommend.Simon
I have a condensation issue which has caused a small amount of mould in my upstairs cupboard and box bay window.
1. Re-plaster cupboard ceiling and re-paint it.
2. Clean away mould and re-paint ceiling in box bay.
Very good standard of work. Arrived on time and always kept me upto date with how the work was going. Well pleased with the work Alex has done.John
1 small area in one room for me. 3 different jobs in my neighbours house - 2 ceilings and one fireplace.
The overall finish wasn't as good as I'd have liked.Sarah

We need to move our downstairs cloakroom door so that access to the cloakroom is from the hall not the proposed new kitchen. The old door way will need to be blocked up and plastered over. A new doorway will need to be created under the stairs in the hallway. The door is 30cm wide. The new door will need to be cut through existing tongue and groove.
Dave gave us a reasonable quote for the work. He was punctual and did a great job. The workmanship was good and he tidied up afterwards. I would certainly recommend him and I hope he'll be available to do more jobs for us.Mark

We have recently bought a house in Bedminster, near Victoria Park. The previous owner put in a couple of sliding doors at the back of the property leading onto the garden. The plastering around these has been left uncovered. The property is in dire need of a paint but has a stone covering. Would we would like to have it rendered and painted and would like to get a quote on costs of doing this. It is a 3 bedroom semi detached, so there would be 3 walls to do (Front/Back/side). Could you give us a quote for this work please?

I would like a quote for rendering my front and back garden walls as they are not very good and I think this will maintain them.
I would also like a quote for rerendering an extension exterior wall on my flat. It is causing damp problems and doesn't match the other walls.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : We need the front and rear of our terraced house rendered. The front would be on to brick and is two floors high. The Bath stonework around the front door and ground floor window needs tidying up, not necessarily replacing, as some is beginning to flake.
The back is 3 storeys high and it would be a case of hacking off the old pebbledash and re-rendering. We may need to have the gutters and facia boards replaced or sorted out at the same time. It'd be nice to have a breakdown of quotes for front (rendering and for stonework) and for the back. Original : We need the front and rear of our terraced house rendered. Victorian terrace house. Need a plasterer to skim two rooms. Rooms have been stripped of wallpaper back to original plaster.
Room 1, first floor, size approx 3.9x3.4x2.5m - skim four walls.
There is a chimney breast central on one wall, one recess has a built in wardrobe so does not require skimming on this part of the wall.
Window with rad beneath on another wall. Damp remedial works have been performed to approx 1 metre height on wall with window, due to previous bath leak issue (on other side of wall).
Room 2, first floor, L shape approx 3.1mx2.8m (narrowing to 2.4m). Ceiling partally sloped, approx 2.5m at highest point.

Hello
We need three ceilings replastered - remove odd ceiling tiles and make good. We also need someone to repair a crack on our sitting room ceiling and potentiall reskim bedroom walls - waiting to see what it's like after taking off wallpaper.
We're about to start renovating our house in Bishopston. Going to do decorative bits ourselves but will need professional help for a lot in the future - so please view this job as an on-going vs. one off. We'll also need plumbing help at some stage to help make good a pretty dire GCH fit - pipes everywhere, so please say if you know someone.
Would prefer to agree a day rate if possible.
Thanks
