House remodel, steels gone in and need a plasterer for skimming, also need some rendering doing.
Hired Tom as my previous plasterer had let me down. I am a builder by trade and will definitely be using this lad again. He was always on time, worked hard all day and make a first class job. Cannot recommend highly enough.Adrian
Hi there,
I need patching up of areas at the back of my house where a window and door used to be. Also about 8m of bellcast. I understand there will be a difference in colour, but a close match is fine.
The job asked was patching pebble dash to existing external walls, which Mark did well. He is very reliable and the work was value for money.Steve
i live in a victorian property and would like the room skimmed. the room is 4.5x 3.5metres and approx 2.7 high. the fireplace has been re opened and needs a small amount or rendering and plastering around the opening ready for a log burner to be fitted Many thanks
I was happy with the job Simon did in slkimming the walls and ceiling in my property. He was always professional and arrived on time.Overall I was happy with the work.MICHELLE
Union Decorators have just completed rendering of my chimmney. They provided an excellent service and very friendly. They turned up when they said they would and left my house in an excellent condition. Very pleased with the workmanship and very competitive price.Andrea
Following a leak from the bathroom above, part of the ceiling is bulging. Area is approx 2m sq. Possibility that entire ceiling will need redoing, in whcih case area is 4m x 2.5m.
The job was done very quickly, the finish was great and the guys were friendly. My only quibble is that during the work the fuse for the downstairs lights blew. This wouldn't have been a problem, except that nobody told me. Laura
We have a problem with penetrating damp caused by defective rendering. The external render is carried down to ground floor level, bridging the damp proof course and should ideally finish in a belcast at damp proof course level ( so we've been told)
Was very impressed when tradesperson came to view job, felt I could trust their professional judgement and they gave a very fair quote. Always returned my call if I needed to contact them. They have not started on my job yet so I will rate again when job is completed.Ceri

The 4 walls of 2 bedrooms need skimming prior to decorating.
I also have an internal window I'd like to replace with wall if possible and a couple of tiny patches to fix.
The plasterer who was signed up now cant do it and am desperate to get the bedrooms back in use and actually have decorator booked in for next week....if possible to do this week at all. Otherwise asap.
The work doesn't include ceilings.
its a victorian property and i'd just like a smooth finish so I dont have to line with paper before painting.

Repair to rendering on outside of two-storey terraced house in Bristol (BS7) - only the side of the house facing the road requires repair. The house has been converted into two flats and the majority is exposed brick-work; the rendering is a strip that runs up the length of either side of the house, along the top and surrounding windows, doors, etc.
Due to the deterioration of the rendering, the plastering one one of the inner walls needs to also be repaired (approx. 1m high x 2m wide).

We have a 3.7m by 3.2m (approx) bedroom that we would like plastered. The walls below the picture rail have been pretreated with Febond Blue Grit. The walls above the picture rail and ceiling have a textured paint on them.
We also need our hall skimmed (including ceiling), wallpaper has been stripped back (1930s semi).
Both areas will be empty before work commences.

Hi,
I had my kitchen chimney breast plastered - however one of the walls was brought out to far from the counter edge - rather than being flush with it.
To fix I need;
1. The existing bead removed.
2. The existing plaster sanded back so flush with the worktop
3. A fresh bead installed and skimmed over to make the corner back out.
The wall area is about 2m high by 60cm deep.
So quite small.
Work needs to be done Tuesday - ie tomorrow

I have a Kitchen wall that needs plastering - It needs treating first as has a white cotton wool like fur coming off the exposed brick work I have pulled plaster off of. It looks and feels dry but could have been from moisture leaking down an internal chimney to cause this type of spore / growth.
Area to treat and plaster is approx 3 m x 3m ish
