Reviews of Plasterers & Renderers in Cabot, Bristol
11 June 2011
Plastering required for half the walls of one bedroom, total area of about 2.5 x 4m give or take including one side of short corridor leading to room. Also plastering of newly opened now non-functioning previous ventilation shaft 25cm deep in top corner of room for use as feature-shelf, Some plaster-boards will be needed, happy to talk through job and show plasterer room prior to quote.
Martin was flexible, starting the job promptly as I needed it done on time and finished on time as well. Nice quality plastering with a reasonable price. Feature-shelf was also done nicely. Cleaned up after finishing the job.
Had initially agreed to deal with loose wire as part of job, but overlooked this initially, however he came back and did this free of charge so no complaints there.
All in all did a decent job.Haider

Previous plastering/rendering jobs in Cabot, Bristol
Lime rendering of front elevation of small listed georgian terraced house in central Bristol.
Georgian Flat with floor area of 66 square meters and high ceilings. Skimming of all walls including living room 5.3m by 5m, bedroom 5.2m by 3.2m, kitchen 4m by 2.2m and a hallway that connects the 3 rooms approx 5m by 1m.
Work involves hacking off existing plaster and replacing it with damp proof course, as per specification which I will provide.
At this stage interested in knowing labour cost i.e. daily rate and how long it would take to do the following:
- Wall 1: 4 metres in length and replaster up to 1.5m high
- Wall 2: As above
- Wall 3: 3 metres in length and replaster up to 1m high
Walls have been hacked off so no render is there , all the walls are clean and ready to go. The wall runs from top to bottom of the driveway and need to be scrathed coat , top coat and white with black sparred. The walls are connected but i have split them into 2 sections... One is 1.6M heigh and 4.4M long and the other is 16M long and 400 mm high. They will need a bead along the bottom of the whole wall and a 3 bell cast beads to do certain bits. Labour and material price is needed as a all in one price. Thanks.

Growing Bristol based construction company looking for quality plasterer for external rendering jobs. We have a number of external rendering projects coming up over the next month around Bristol. We will provide a competent laborer to mix the render.
The house is a Regency terraced 3 storey building in Kingsdown, Bristol. Most of the render is in good condition but there is a patch that we would like to have repaired.
The work needs to be done in the next 6 weeks or so, in the kitchen of Cotham Parish Church. I would like local plasterers please.
I'm not sure
scaffolding maybe needed certainly ladders, front of house
Front and back of a large 3 storey townhouse. Ladders will be required, possibly some scaffolding.
