Brilliant on the job originally quoted to do. but agreed to do another job for me which he quoted me for and three weeks later has not done besides agreeing to do it the same week. No replies to my telephone call, from that I have to rate him as unreliable which is a shame as he was a very pleasant and polite young man.

our 3 bedroom end terrace needs rendering patching up and all exterior walls need painting so interested in getting quotes from people able to do this. house is approx 25' x 25' x 20' (roughly) cheers
the house now looks nice. however on close inspection: the agreement was for the old peeling paint to be scraped off and for the house to be coated with 2 coats glue substance and 2 coats paint. only bits of the old paint was scraped off in an adhoc manner. not sure if there were 2 layers of glue over the whole house and there were gaps in the paintwork round the back showing the old paint (so definately not 2 coats!). otherwise this was a good job and he mended our gate too. in general i think there was a gap in communication between what he told us he'd do and what the workers who came round were told /willing to do.

The fireplace has been rendered. It now needs to be plastered over.There is also an area in the corner of the room that is very loose and badly cracked which extends to the walls either side of it. The plaster would need to be knocked off and redone.
Mark skimmed & repaired a wall also skimmed/plastered a chimney breast wall. This was done to a high standard. He has a professional manner and started the job at the time agreed. Marc's prices are reasonable and I intend to contact him for jobs in the near future.

This is basically either a massive cosmetic polyfilla-ing / plastering exercise on a house that's been replastered a while back, but is suffering from cracks throughout the house. It will potentially come as well with some repainting as well, to cover the polyfilla-ing / replastering and also painting in rooms where due to use of bikes etc a repaint is required on the walls. There is a large crack in the plaster in the kitchen, this will definitely need replastering, but rest of cracks as I've said look fairly superficial... Timing: Within 2 months

Living room and main bedroom - Complete plaster skim including skimming ceilings to a flat finish. The finish throughout must be to be flat and smooth to a very high professional standard throughout to allow me to paint the walls without the need for wallpaper. Living room is approx 5m x 3.3m, bedroom is approx 5m x 2.7m. Living room currently has a decorative brickwork fireplace and surround that I am removing, and will leave un-finished wall brickwork to be plastered over and the fireplace hearth will need to be boarded across flush with the rest of the wall. There are 2 small-ish holes in the ceiling to be repaired before skimming the ceiling. I will have chased a couple of cables/socket boxes into the walls which will need plastering over. Bedroom is a straightforward skim + a skim over a repair that I have made to the ceiling in the bedroom cupboard (approx 30cm square). In total 4 radiatiors will need to be removed (and refitted afterwards) to allow plastering behind. A very minor additional job is to skim over 6 very small holes in the conservatory wall (where the cavity wall insulation recently went in). Price must be competitive and work must be 100% competed before 22nd November. (ideally starting the week after next). Quality/flatness/smoothness of finish is paramount.

Dormer bungalow. Upstairs bedroom. Just had its outside panels insulated, which involved cutting out sections of plasterboard. Will need a large ish section of the ceiling plastered and the cut-out sections patched. Key requirement is dates - want it done by end October.
