Updated : I really need this work done - it has been stripped and ready for about a year now but we've been unable to proceed due to difficult family circumstances. I have no real idea of likely cost so am happy to increase budget if necessary. It was suggested that I post photos but I can't see how to do that. If they would be helpful I could email them to you. Approximate measurements; Lower hall: 2x3.5m with 4 doors and stair Stair: one full wall 2.75m, two floors, plus 'turn' 1m with window, plus 1m section above stair. Upper hall: approx 2x3.5m with 4 doors and corner. Original : Hall and stairwell need plastered. I don't know what the job type categories mean exactly so don't know if skimming is what I need. The walls are in fairly poor condition with cracks and chips - some areas have as much polyfiller as plaster and I want to get to a finnish I can just paint.
Arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently producing acceptable results. Very pleasant family - a pleasure to have in the house. Would be happy to use them again.

Spare bedroom needing a full finishing skim coat ready for painting. Walls are older style gyproc and ceiling has a slight artex coating that i am looking to have skimmed over. ceiling size is approx 14.2m2 and walls are 2.4m floor to ceiling, looking to have this work within the next 2 weeks if possible.

Alex came at the agreed time to discuss what work required to be undertaken, he gave an estimate and we agreed a price. He then returned at the appointed time and did a very good job at a reaonable cost.
