Looking for a plasterer who will work in the Rayleigh area to replaster a small (standard) bathroom. 4 walls and ceiling. Bath to remain in the room but toilet, sink and radiator will be removed before being plastered (I'm stating under £100 so you don't have to pay a lot for the link).
When Mark came round to look at our bathroom, I knew that he would be the right person for the job. He was very thorough with his quote and explained everything. Really pleased with the end result! Mark and Gavin arrived on time, worked hard and done a great job on my bathroom. Couldn't have asked for any better. If you want an honest, reliable and hardworking plasterer who will work wonders, I would definitely recommend Mark! We know who to go to when the next room needs to be done!

Artexed Ceiling in hall and landing looks hideous so need it skimmed over with plaster. Also have removed a fireplace and want to use as decorative cove so need the wall plastered to leave the hole so I can fill with ornaments etc. We have new oak wood floors throughout so workman/woman needs to be very careful tidy and have plenty of dust/film sheets. We are doinf this as have a decorator in in around 6 weeks to decorate all the areas.
On time and reliable. Also cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave usual lumps of plaster in your drive that you can often get. Job looks great and was finished half a day early.....and they gave me £20 off because I tipped the workman too much!!

Skimming ceiling (currently artexed) and walls of a bedroom approx 15 feet by 9 feet (possible 3 other bedrooms to follow) quote required just for the one room at present.

Whitehouse, SS6

So I've stripped my hallway and found that the stairwell after stripping is in need of plastering. I have ladders and scaffold boards already, so getting to areas is easy. the floor to ceiling height is about 15 foot, and it's both sides of the stairwell. Upstairs is literally above the door frames. the downstairs is pretty good in the extension, but the old entrance may be due to be skimmed too. I honestly think it's probably a day and a halfs job. Timing: I am flexible on start date

Unsold Job, Updated Details : So, the work that is required is to remove all the render in the areas where it has blown and cracked. Use reinforcing mesh or metal if the brickwork underneath the render is also cracked. Match in with new render, then a bagging coat, primer coat, and a top coat of a good quality wallcoating. There are also some brick courses that may need re-pointing before re-coating. Original : Repairs to external rendered walls where the render has cracked and blown, and a wallcoating (Andura or similar) applied. This is a repair that is required as the work was done three years ago but the wallcoating has failed (blistered in areas) and new cracks and areas of blown render have appeared. I get some damp on internal walls when it rains. The company that did the work has dissolved and I have an insurance backed warranty that will help with the repair costs. The house is a 1930's art-deco style house (flat roof and balcony), which is a 3 bed semi-detached in Rayleigh, Essex. It is mainly white in colour with some red brick detailing.

Wheatley, SS6

Under £500
we have been told that the wrong type of render has been used on the inside of a main wall and that moisture keeps getting in and we're getting damp behind the paint which is then bubbling. This is causing the wall to crack and bubbles the paint.

Downhall and Rawreth, SS6
