I'm looking for a plasterer to re-skim a double bedroom, this work will need doing within the next 2 weeks.
I needed a room re-skimming within a couple of weeks. Kim came to the house the same day and provided a very reasonable quote. A week later the room is re-plastered and it looks great. Would recommend to anyone and happily use his services again when I decorate my other bedrooms. Many thanks Kim!

Small Kitchen. Whilst removing old tiles, discovered the plaster was also coming off and have been left with a pinky/beige rough surface onto which, the new tiles will not adhere. The kitchen is approximately 9'9" x 6'6" x 7'6" I would like quotes for the re-skimming of the walls please. Many thanks, Gill
Whilst a very personable gentleman, Glen didn't fill my requirements though his quote was within my requested range. Obviously knew what he was talking about and explained things in a very easy-to-understand manner. Unfortunately he didn't get the contract though.

Joint tape then skim 2 plaster boarded ceilings each measuring 3.3m x 3.1m (10 foot x 11 foot). The rooms are currently empty
Made appointment to quote really quickly. Quoted that evening via email, and did the job the following day. Even though the quote Richard gave (£205) was not the cheapest he was available immediately. The other quotes recieved were for £145 and £275. I had concerns regarding the finish and Richard came out on a Saturday (thanks) to have a look, he suggested applying the mist coat (first coat of paint) and then having a look again. He even did this for me and offered to rectify any problems after that. I think my expectations were slightly high with respect to expecting a perfect finish, but being honest even after the mist coat there was still a need to fill and sand to get an absolutely smooth finish. This may have been because it was quite warm on the day the work was done and the plaster set quicker than normal. Excellent customer service and thoroughly likeable bloke. Thanks Richard.
