Two bedrooms require skimming and the celing is currently small bobbles so would more than likely would like that to be plastered to make smooth. Room 1 is10ft by 6ft 4in and room 2 is 10ft by 8ft10in. If quote suits then to start very soon
We were initially pleased with the work that Ben carried out - Plastering of two smallish rooms including the ceiling. When we inspected the work closer we noticed gobs of plaster over each wall which required me to carefully scrape off. The plastering round the skirting boards is below acceptable. Although we said that the carpets were going to be replaced in one room it was left soaking, so wet that it had gone through to the underlay and floor boards. Finally the mess we were left in was upsetting - plaster over all the doors, new windows, sills, hall carpet etc. We are disappointed since Ben had a lovely mannerism upon the quotation.

My house had two rooms, a lounge and a study. I'm reasonably handy so I removed a partition wall myself and did electrics and plumbing, all went swimmingly - however I need someone now to come do the taping and skimming where it joins - and the ceiling where it joins - as I'm no platerer....
Really good, Ben contacted me very rapidly and came around in the evening and gave me a quote, arranged to do the work the following Monday at 11:30. On the Monday he turned up on time and did a really good job, it's warming to know there are some decent, honest, tradepeople out there, and he was a nice chap to boot, And he was tidy and cleared up any mess, just what I wanted. Watching him work, tell you he was really skilled but the thing I didn't realise how physical plastering is - he really worked hard to get it right, including a really difficult ceiling - I was kidding myself thinking I could plaster, thanks Ben.

Skim the walls and ceiling in one bedroom. Room approx 3metres x 3 metres
A superb job! Not the cheapest quote but a fair price for the work which took 1.5 days. Steve was excellent, great communication, a very professional quotation, once accepted I knew when he was going to arrive. He came the evening before to get set up and make a start on the job. Once completed the plaster work is pretty much perfect with a lovely clean job around the doors and windows. I would definately recommend Steve and would not hesitate to use him again.
