Double bedroom ceiling and top of walls (about 1.5 foot over picture frame) are currently covered in artex. We would like a smooth surface, which could then be painted at a later date.
Thin did a great job. He was punctual and tidy and stuck to the original quote. We'd recommend him to others.

Mr McBrean is a credit to his profession. His immediate response and his fare quote lead me to hire Mr McBrean without question. Steadfast, honest, dedicated to the work at hand. Working through a nightmare of a job, without the usual tea/smoke/phone breaks one often finds in a tradesman. I would recommend this artisan to anyone, and my house is open to inspection should the need arise. I have taken several photos during the plaster and render process, available for viewing. I might also add that he was left on the premises whilst l was out and l found him completely trustworthy, also working way into the evening to complete sections of work that needed completing. Plus he whistles while he works!

We've been let down by our plasterer at the last minute and are looking for someone to plaster our hallway, stairs and landing, including ceilings, a.s.a.p., preferably before the new year. The ceiling has just been lowered, so it is new plaster board. Most of the walls are in fairly good nick and will just need a few bits filling in, where the dado rail has been removed etc., and then skimming. Two of the partitian walls upstairs are plaster and lathe and the original plaster is falling away - it has been recommended that we should put plaster board over the top of these then a plaster skim. All wallpaper has been removed. We are looking to paint afterwards rather than paper, so need a smooth finish. I'm off work until 6th January and really want the work to have been completed before then.

Currently had electricians in for the first fix and need to patch plaster all the rooms where the chasing has occured. Also need to Skim out all the rooms in the house: Main Reception Room 2nd Reception Room Dining Room DryLine and Skim out whole kitchen Hallway including staires Bedroom 1 Bedroom 2 Bedroom 3 En Suite Bathroom Main Bathroom Bedroom 4 Bedroom 5 Bathroom All the work can be carried out in stages, i.e Patch Plastering first, and then I can finish the 2nd Fix of electrics and central heating. After that we can start the skimming of each of the rooms one by one. There is also some patch rendereing on the outside of the house, that needs doing (Mainly Chimney stacks and also some areas where the drainage has been renewed.
