Jay was great from first contact to leaving the place clean and tidy. To previous reviewers who've mentioned footprints etc - you simply cannot avoid dusty footprints when plastering no matter how clean you are, get a grip! Very happy with all aspects of service and finish, and we are very particular! Thanks Jay, see you next time!

Make good 5 holes (cigarette packet size) in stud walls (from electrician's rewiring work). Skim to smooth plaster finish all 4 walls of room and over existing artex ceiling - to make suitable for painting. Room size is 6m x 2.6m with a low ceiling of 2m. (3 large windows in room).
Jordan offered to quote within half an hour of posting the job. Arrived at allocated time and gave a very fair quote. He fitted the work around the dates I could get free from work. Job was completed on time to a very high standard less than a week after posting job. Very clean and tidy tradesman - no hesitation in recommending or using again.

Downstairs front room, hallway, stairwell, and landing of mid terrace house, both walls and ceiling need 3mm plaster skim. May need to be thicker in places and thinner in others. Downstairs front room, hallway, and stairwell has been newly plasterboard lined. Landing ceiling is existing artex (to be covered) and one wall is existing traditional browning & plaster (small bit of repair work to be done on that wall before skimming). I would like to be able to just seal the plaster and paint it rather than mess around with lining paper, so a good finish is needed. Materials can be provided. Most prep work done already. Job to be ideally completed first half May.
Steve did a fantastic job! Always turned up on time, very reasonable price, and completed the job on time to a high standard. Steve makes sure he talks everything through with you so you know exactly what to expext, and why things need to be done in a specific way. Very reassuring! I would have no hesitation in getting Steve back to do more work for me. Highly recommended!

Up to 4 rooms in a terraced house
I was extremely pleased with Alan's professional manner. He totally understood my position (my husband poorly during our dealings) and I felt able to trust him to get on with the job in hand. Have been unable to inspect the work personally, but my tenant very satisfied with the plastering done and Alan took photographs of his work. I would definitely use him again should the occassion arise and would recommend him to friends.
