I live in a Victorian semi with papered and painted walls and ceiling. Beneath this, the walls/ceilings are the original lath and plaster; I am in the process of removing the paper and as expected some loose and defective plaster has come away. My walls and ceilings now require re-plastering, I would like a quote for this work please. Thank you.

Repair a bathroom ceiling where the ceiling pull light base detached from the ceiling and made a hole in the plaster. The hole is about 3 inches in diameter and has been caused by the screws from the light switch base ripping the thin plaster ceiling. I'm not sure if this is more a building job or plastering job.

I have had a new front door fitted, leaving uneven edges and gaps between the frame and the walls. I need all the sides of the front door (internal side) filled, plastered, and painted. Also, the front door is timber and needs to be varnished.
Tomas + colleague did an excellent job. Tomas came one day for a quote and started work the next day. Not only did they complete the job I requested, but also had a great eye for detail, and found numerous other small jobs which they completed at no extra cost. They worked incredibly hard for 2 days solid, doing plastering, painting, carpentry work, and various other repairs. They provided all their own tools and materials, and cleaned up leaving the place immaculate on completion. They did a fantastic job at a fair price, and I would certainly use them again. I highly recommend them as a pair of very hard-working, trustworthy, skilled workers.

The cracks in the bedroom are small and mostly on one side of the room. The crack in the hallway runs along a plaster board (on either side of this board there is concrete), so an expert plasterer is required. After plastering the cracks I would like to get the walls redecorated (wallpaper and painting).

Wall size: 2630x2255mm (W x H) with 762mm door. Skirting and architrave to by fitted by others, and wall will have no cornice. Part 2 - Create level ceilling to bedroom with approximate 12mm step in ceiling. Level ceiling to be finished in smooth plaster and skim, ready to receive paint finish by others. Total ceiling size: 3230x2630mm, low level size: 960x2630mm, higher level 2270x2630mm. Contractor to advise on appropriate method to create level ceiling. Scaled CAD drawings & photo's availbe on request.
