I need someone to skim the ceiling of a small living room. It had polystrene tiles on it, and when we took them down, the plaster was damaged and so needs skimming. It is a small area, as it is an attic conversion so lots of sloping ceilings which do not need skimming. I am looking for someone to do this job quickly. I look forward to hearing from you. Timing: ASAP
Gavin (from Leeds) skimmed a ceiling for me at my flat last week in SW London. He did an excellent job. He gave me a good price (via this site), arrived on time and was very polite and friendly. I cannnot recommend Gavin highly enough. I will definitely be using him again.

Wall of lathes and plaster needs patch repair or complete replacement. Appx 3.5m wide x 2.3m high. Other small patch bonding layers and skims needed elsewhere in room on masonry / drywalls and ceiling. Require finish to level so I can decorate ie. paint.
Eric was efficient and called the day before to ensure everything was ready for plastering. The work was performed to a high standard and to the time and budget he stated. Would use again for sure.

An electrician has just gone through the ceiling from the loft above, leaving an approx 1 foot square hole which needs repairing and replastering.
Outstanding service. Dave arrived promptly, explained in detail what he needed to and completed the job to excellent standard. He took great care in clearing up any resultant debris and offered to return at no cost to make good in the unlikely event that any hairline cracks should appear once the plaster had dried and been repainted. He was polite and took as much time as the job needed. Final cost precisely as quoted over the phone. Excellent - thank you.

We have taken out a built in wardrobe from a recess next to a chimney breast. Now that is has come out, the corner of the chimney breast, part of the ceiling and 2 of the wallsof the recess need replastering, probably adding some plaster board too. The ceiling is about 2.5m, I would guess and the recess is prob about 1m wide and 40cm deep.
Gareth called me back within a few hours of quoting the job and cane to quoye within 2 days. His quote was a full £300 cheaper than everyone else. He arrived dead on time on the day of the job, was polite and quick and did a fantastic job. Would ahve no hesitation in recommending him

Florin was superb. He was available in the evening to provide a quote and ready to start work that same week. He actually completed the work in one week, which was fantastic! I would have no hesitation in using Florin again, or recommending him for decorating work.

Neto said he would be here for 8am and he was. He is a very hard worker - apart from just skimming our ceiling and plastering the wall as we requested, he also made good other walls in the kitchen. The overall result is fantastic. I highly recommend him - reasonable price, but excellent work. Thanks!!!

Some walls have been taken back to brickwork so will need rendering to the existing thickness, or dot & dab and plasterboard. Then the majority of the flat needs skimming. Finally coving and ceiling roses placed in some rooms.
