Hi. We need some awful woodchip wallpaper removed and the walls to be skimmed in the hallway of our flat. It's a fairly large area and the ceiling is very high. Preferably, we would like to get the walls, skirting and coving painted at the same time.
What can I say? The guys were nothing short of amazing. Really hardworking, polite and approachable, and the finish on the work was fantastic. We ended up giving them loads of extra work (because they were so good!), but they took it all in their stride and couldn't do enough for us. They paid attention to the little details and tidied up after themselves - they even cleaned our bin when they have finished! Our flat is like a different property, it's wonderful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Assorted plaster plaster patching with bonding to be done first. This is where electrics have been chased in throughout the house. Then skimming: approx 100 sq metres of skimming in total from walls of corridor, lounge & 2 bedrooms, and including low ceiling of small bedroom. High quality work required for smooth, straight finish.
All YIP's staff were hard working, knowledgeable of their trade and professional and the finished product was a straight, smooth plaster finish. Work was done on time with no hidden extras, and no shortcuts taken. Couldnn't recommend them enough.

We have moved a door in our bathroom, and now need the new plasterboard wall and ceiling plastered ready for painting. The area is 3m x 2m covering ceiling and wall. Ideally we would like this done next Tuesday 12th July 2011. Please get in touch if this is something you would be interested in doing.
We would highly recommend Mcleans Construction. Frederick came to our house on time, did the work to a very high standard and cleared away afterwards. The price he quoted for the job was very competitive and would recommend to family/friends.

Patchy holes and loose plaster board (kind of squares, old and not very good condition). We are going to repaper the wall so hopefully just needs holes filled and plaster skimming. We just moved in so need a cost effective solution. Can always replaster properly when doing more major work (want to eventually do the loft..).
Prompt with work, started the next day. Did a good job replastering and skimming the wall, and relatively clean. Would recommend.

The job required some specialist skills moulding/matching and fixing a piece of decorative coving. very effective result. Top draw work.

Very good job by AJ and his team. AJ was able to squeeze the job in within a week of accepting, even though it took us 6 months to accept. 3 guys, 2 days and all done. Very good quality work and made the effort to clean up after they were done. Also, thankfully did a bit more than the original quote and plastered the extra few holes/areas that I'd created in the previous 6 months.

I did an extention in my back garden/patio last year at my ground floor flat, but the contractor used the wrong type of material to render the external wall. This now has water damage and has started to peel off. I need someone to remove the rest of the outer layer of render, and then to smooth the underlying wall with a sander (or similar tool), and then to repaint it. The area includes only the new section of wall, which comprises of 2 sides, totaling roughly 12 sqm in size. This job will probably take 2 days to complete in total.
Willie's quote was lower than the other quotes I received, and he did the job quickly and efficiently, but still to a very high standard. He also cleaned up after him before leaving my property. He also did all the work himself. I would recommend him for similar or any outdoor building, plastering or rendering jobs.
