Plaster around an open door frame to a lounge. Door Opening was originally blocked with plaster boards and has created a mess around the door frame when it was opened up again recently by new occupiers.

Just taken off paper off bedroom ceiling - the ceiling is boarded, but the plaster on top is stained and craked - loks in poor shape. Want advice on whether to remove plaster? and reskim or whether the plaster can be repaired or whether the whole lot needs re-boarding? Would like to add period cornincing and ceiling rose afterwards.

I would highly recommend Chris for your project. He is a great guy, very friendly, punctual and did a excellent job plastering my living room ceiling and kitchen wall.
