Hi, I'd like to skim/plaster over my kitchen ceiling approx 5m by 5m... it has a rippled-effect artex that I want to smooth over.
This is the first time I have used someone from RatedPeople and I'm very pleased that I did.
The quote was good, but more importantly to me, he was reliable and carried out the work to a high standard.
No doubt I shall be using them again.

i need to do plaster my kitchen wall ASAP.
I had some plastering work to be done in my kitchen for which I called Kez and he gave me an appointment for the next day and was punctual on his time and gave me the reasonable price and I went ahead with him and he did the excellent job. I found his work to be the value for money and I excessively recommend Kez to anybody who is looking for House work.

A section of a wall requires re bonding and then plastering.
Plaster work done to an excellent standard. Kez is a top tradesman. Would recommend and will definitely call again in future.

bedroom needs one section of wall kind of taken down to minimum and redone as think has plasterboard on it as not even to rest of the wall

I am a builder from surrey and have just finished putting a new flat roof on a property in southall and I am about to start refurbing the house. I have taken the old ceiling down below the flat roof ready for a new one. My plasterer wont travel that far to southall so I need a local firm. The ceiling measures 4m2. (1.9m*2.1m)
What I need is two quotes. the first to plasterboard the ceiling and skim. The second quote to just skim the ceiling.
The work needs to be done this Wednesday the 25th of April, cash on completion. We look after a few properties in greater London and will have a lot more work for the right firm.
I need someone who does a decent job at a decent price. You NEED to be good.

Need to find the source of where the damp is getting in, sealing this, and rerendering the front of the house. The gutters are not causing this problem. When it rains the brick work seems to absorb the rain through to the inside of the house in one particular part only.
