Services required: plaster skimming Part of room(s): 1 x small area Refitting bathroom in an downstairs extension on back of 1900 terraced house . Room sized 1700 x 1800 by 2000mm tall. Need the walls skimming as plaster has cracked off in places and whats left is covered in old paint. Ceiling ok. Style of property: Period
Daniel arrived on time . He did a great job of skimming the walls in my bathroom. Very pleased with the price and finish of the job. Will be using again.
old render cracked and flaking in places. needs replacing
The quote was fantastic and very quick. They worked well to give us a price which was within out means for which we were very grateful. They also slotted the job in very quickly which meant that we didn't have to wait very long at all.
The main problems were that after one week of work the renderer went off to do another job, leaving us for several days without anyone turning up to do the job. When the job did start again it was a different person and the rendering did not match so there are visible areas where the render finish looks different.
On the gable end of the wall there was a very visible join which after we commented was smoothed over to some extent but the finish on the different walls does not match entirely. After the job was finished it took nearly 2 weeks for the scaffolding to be removed. We were told it would come down but each day, no one turned up to remove it. this was annoying as it mean that it put back other jobs that we were doing to the house.

Unsold lead, updated details: The dimensions of the ceiling are approx. 311 x 400cm. Original: I have a bedroom ceiling that need to be re-plastered. It may also need to be boarded first. It is currently artexted and very uneven around the joints between the old boards. We would like it to be a smooth finish. It is a standard terraced house size room.

Services required: plaster skimming Complete room(s): 1 x bedroom: (walls only) This weekend we are planning on removing woodchip wallpaper from our spare room and ideally would like an idea of how much it would cost to get a room skimmed in the worst case scenario that the wallpaper brings off some plaster or very uneven walls!
The room is a standard terrace size which is 12ft x 12 ft,
Many thanks in advance Style of property: Period
Services required: repair large cracks, repair blown plaster, prepare walls for painting / wallpaper I have taken some of the wallpaper off from the walls going up the stairs as the plaster was blown. Upon looking at the plaster it looks a bit tired and thus need it redone.
Not sure whether to remove all old plaster, start again, or repair/skim - It depends on what is going to get me the best finish really.
Will have a job for our dining room too so if you do a good job we'll hire again Style of property: Period

Ceiling in upstairs bedroom, art ex cracked. Requires stripping and replastering

I am carrying out in depth restoration of my 3 bed room semi in Norwich and I have a living room that has been readied for plastering. I have chased the cables in and I just need to install the door lining next week. I need a plasterer to head over to give me a quote on this work.
There will also be further work in the downstairs hallway, toilet and up the stairs. All three bedrooms will need further attention so this will be a work in progress.
The old plaster has been removed in alot of places so the options are either to apply a wet coat and then 2 layers of skimming over the top or remove all of the old plaster and use new plaster board. I am open to suggestions of the best way to go on this.
If you could call me asap to arrange a visit it would be appreciated.
