Kitchen ceiling needs to be completely redone as burst pipe caused ceiling to fall down. Downstairs toilet ceiling has a couple of holes that need to be filled due to people trying to rectify the burst pipe issue.

A chimney brest has been rmoved and re bricked over approx size area is 2.8 m hight by 1.3 m high, clean bricks so no soot. I need the brick work skimming, also a small amout of concreting on the floor where the chimney brest stood . Job is central in york , I would think about 6 hrs work

Neil worked very quickly and did a neat job. He revised his quote downwards when he realised the job was not as big as first thought. I would recommend Floor2Wall.

Fitting dry lining, edge profiles and skimming of walls and ceiling in our bathroom. Approx size of bathroom is 2m (w) x 1.8m x 2.5m (h) I'm not sure if everything needs new dry lining as I've not removed all the wall tiles yet and not sure what the condition of the backing plaster on those places is.
All started off quite well. Pete was late but called to cancel the appointment and appeared the day after as agreed to provide a quotation. Started the job on the agreed date. Did find that he left always quite early in the afternoon, however my experience is that that seems common among UK trades people. The plastering / skimming job took 3 days to complete and upon completion it seemed fine until the skim started drying. The walls were very uneven and I had to sand them down for a couple of days. Also the finishing wasn't as I expected. Pete was going to do some more jobs for us but we could never reach him and he only called us back once. By that time we must have left about 10 voicemails and sent emails. He still has a key for the back of the property which he promised to return but so far (now about 6 weeks later) no key has shown up. Not impressed and would not hire him again. The price for the job was £300 which would have been alright had it been finished up to a high spec which unfortunately it hasn't.

taking off old water damaged plaster in a few areas of the house and re-plastering. The areas are the ceiling of a bay window, two walls in a small room. One wall in a bigger room and five or six small patches around the house. There is also damage to the ceiling of the outside porch but I'm not sure if it is a job for a roofer and last there is an enclose alley outside that needs a ceiling and plaster work. I don't know if this is a job for a plasterer or not. The work needs to be started very quickly.

I think plastering is very very difficult so will only be interested to hear from people with at least 5 positive customer ratings. Apologies if you dont and are new to rated people but as its the lounge I can't afford the missus chewing me up every time she looks at a wavy wall. Location is Thorpe Willoughby near Selby. Both rooms are completely empty. Job is to skim over artex ceiling and walls in lounge which measures approx 6.8m by 3.4 m. There are two internal doors in the room (architrave removed), one bay window and one set of French doors. Toilet measures 2m by 1m and has one internal door. Again, job is to skim over artex ceilings and walls. All fittings and architrave has been removed. Only service connections cause any obrstructions. Plaster cornice is also required in the lounge but is not essential at this time.
