"[COMPANY_NAME] are EXCELLENT - please do not be put off by the fact that they are new to the site. The quality of their work (they re-plastered the whole of my main double bedroom - walls and ceiling, together with my kitchen and landing ceilings) is simply exceptional and their quote was highly competitive. Having had a number of plasterers recommend pulling down my victorian lathe paster ceiling (at considerably greater cost), I was reassured when Dave and Neil looked at it and calmly assessed the situation - they strongly suspected it would be fine and would only recommend pulling down the ceiling if it absolutely required it. In any event, they gave a quote in the alternative (again, comparatively at a very competitive price), came in, saved the ceiling and it literally is now a work of art - it's almost criminal to paint it. I really strongly recommend [COMPANY_NAME] for any plastering work you may have - they are good guys, non-intrusive, on time, thoroughly trustworthy, keep the mess to a minimum (dust sheets were laid throughout and everything cleaned up at the end of the job), complete the work to budget and, in my experience, really care about the quality of their work. I have already booked them in to re-plaster my other bedroom. "I needed my lounge and dining rooms to have their ceilings and walls skimmed so that I could paint them without any of the cracks, pits etc showing. It would have taken me weeks to get the walls let alone the ceilings in any decent condition to enable me to paint them directly (don't like lining paper). Arranged for two quotes from plasterers via this site; knowing approximately the ball park we expected to pay having had a bedroom skimmed before, the first company were well over the expected maximum we were prepared to pay. This companies representatives, came the next day and were very professional in their approach to the whole quote, they didn't try to "up" the price by doing unnecessary work and when they e-mailed me the quote it was on the expected target. They got the job, I paid a deposit and a week latter after two days work (as agreed) the job was finished. I have just painted the ceilings and walls with a paint specifically designed for fresh plaster, and we are very satisfied with the whole job. Just need to decide on the final colour scheme to match the new furniture... Would recommend them to anyone, they are first class. I will definitely have them back as and when further work around the house is required."
