tom from first class plastering came to my home and gave me a very good quote, i then arranged for a day and time with him , he arrived on time and plastered two rooms for me, i am very happy with the work he did for me, i would highly recommend first class plastering services as he was very efficient and reliable he arrived the time he said he would and did a very good job, i will definately be using them again,

2 bedroom semi-detached house with 1980s artexed ceilings and walls, with cornices. In good repair but want to get modern smooth surfaces with no cornices. Main sitting room 14' x 10', kitchen 10' x 7' , bathroom 6 x 7', staircase 14' x 3' and 2 bedrooms 12' x 12'. Finished job to be painted.
Stephen has done a wonderful job covering up the artex throughout our house. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a good and reliable plasterer. Marie.

Around 20 square metres of roughcast to be removed and replaced. Following a leak in a flat roof an area of roughcast has become bossed and badly cracked and needs repair asap. Surrounding areas of roughcast show substantial bossing though no signs of cracking or damage. I think it would be best to remove and replace all roughcast in affected areas. Am also concerned that existing roughcast may be bridging damp proof course and so contributing to small area of internal dampness which i think is primarily a result of the leak in the flat roof so would like advice on this and whether an alternative approach to some of the external rendering could be taken in order to avoid bridging DPC but still delivering a nice finish.
