Martin contacted me arranged a time,he was early and i was late and he waited about for me,looked at the job gave me a price which i was pleased with,got straight on to it as i was in a rush for getting it done,finished the job in the time scale he stated,cleaned up after himself left it clean and tidy would not hesitate in using Martin in the future should i need a plasterer so would reccomend him to anyone needing any work done. Small job, skimming a room which is roughly 4' by 6'. No known issues (damp, loose plaster etc). To be used as a temporary nursery. Must be a professional finish.
Very pleased with the job. Anthony came out to assess the work required, suggested the best way of getting the best results (which we wouldn't have thought of) such as removing tiles round the window then building out the plaster to that original level and removing the internal sill which was untidy then replacing it once the plasterwork had been made good. The quality of the plasterer was excellent and the man who came to do it was at pains to do a tidy, good-quality job, right from covering all carpets between the front door and the job to brushing up the bare floorboards when he had finished. The finish is excellent. The only slight incident was that when doing some electrical work, Anthony caused some minor damage to the landing plasterwork accidentally but this was made good prior to completing the job. After enquiring about another tricky job in another area of the house and having had a couple of other plasterers scratch their heads and say 'ooh, that's complicated', Anthony immediately came up with solutions to achieve a good finish on what is otherwise a difficult job. Also, available within short notice, the delay was on our part, whilst we waited for the next pay day!

We need an internal stairway skimming. Taken wallpaper off and there are a number of small holes etc plus a larger area of a couple of square feet which mean we can't simply paint. Ceilings are average height so normal equipment for stairs will be needed.
An excellent job done by an extremely friendly and pleasant man! He was also the cheapest of all the quotes we got. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

We've recently moved into a large Edwardian house which has artex on ceilings! So we want it all skimming. There is also a chimney breast that needs doing, the walls of the dining room and also possibly the walls in the hallway and landing - depending what happens when the wallpaper comes off, may just need patch repair. Ceiling height in most rooms is apx 11feet. Here's other apx dimensions. Entrance hall: 8ft x 25ft. Dining room: 14 x 17.5. Bedroom 1: 14 x 15. Bedroom 2: 14 x 15. Bedroom 3: 14 x 12. (Don't pay much attention to apx budget as we've no idea what it should be!) We're looking to start this work fairly soon, rooms will be virtually clear of any furniture and we're not precious about carpets as will be changing them anyway.
