Budget Under £100

Job I have a fairly new (4 years old) potterton combi boiler that is misbehaving. Hot water is intermittent, and loss of heat is often associated with a loud knocking/banging noise within the pipe system. Pump issue perhaps?

Job Plastic waste pipe behind washing machine is damaged and needs replacing. Water leaks onto floor when washing machine in use.

Job Potential total re-plumb of old house, including new boiler and radiators throughout.

Comment David is enthusiastic and has done a great job of replumbing the central heating and hot water systems in our rather unusual house - I suspect he may have underestimated the difficulty when he first took it on, but has done a fantastic job - the difference in the heating and hot water is amazing. We would have no hesitation in recommending David for all sizes and types of work, his prices are competitive and he knows what he's doing - including getting assistance in when he needs it to complete on time! All in all, a very satisfactory outcome - we've just got to box everything in and get the house rewired now, but that's one for another day! Sharon

Job The kitchen tap has been leaking for a while and there seems to be a more sever leak somewhere as the pressure on the gas boiler keeps dropping affecting the hot water supply. We can not currently use the washing machine as the kitchen tap makes an awful noise and starts 'shuddering' violently.

Comment Bahattin was very prompt with a response; taps were replaced very quickly with no problems. Bahattin was also very knowledgeable and gave me sound advice for looking after my boiler. I would use Bahattin for future jobs and fully recommend! Marie

Budget I'm not sure

Job boiler promax 155 boiler not lighting

Comment very poor communication from this company, I was left in the dark as to when i could expect an engineer to visit thus i could not arrange my own time in advance. Had to phone the company four times but clearly they had so much work that they could afford to be dismissive of me. Eventualy got a call from an engineer 10 minutes before he presumed to turn up with no advance arangements made. Spent £175 set fee for ten minutes of tinkering. Overall I was left with the impression that their time was clearly much more valuable than mine. richard
