Replace and possibly relocate hot water tank from offshot loft to main loft. (Due to access retrictions, loft hatch in bathroom has since been covered & plastered over, there is access between the two lofts however I don't believe that the space is large enough for a tank to be passed through) The existing tank has been in place since prior to 1997 and I believe it has developed a leak between the hot water and heating compartments causing the hot water header tank to backfill and overflow. If possible I require this to be completed before 20th Aug as my wife is on leave from work until then.
PS Plumbing arrived when they said they would, provided a quick quotation and fitted me in the following week. They provided me with a couple of options and gave sound advice, the job itself involved switching from a gravity fed heating/hot water system to a sealed system. Job completed to a very high standard, very neat and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others and when the time comes to replace my boiler I will certainly be contacting PS Plumbing again.

Apparently water was discovered by water Utility flowing into drain which was coming from aprox area kitchen sink. Thats about all I know presently because thats all the Water utility has told me as I am landlord and property is 200 mls away. they say they can hear it flowing under the floorboards but these havent been lifted to determine where the actual leak is from and whether any further damage has been caused as a consequence.
I was informed by the Water Utility that they had found water running from my property into the mains. An inspector visited and told me that he could hear water flowing under the kitchen floor. When Paul came to fix this he claimed he had spent about 4 hours repairing and testing all joints. His charge was £ 140 which I thought excessive but I paid it because I wanted the problem solving. Some weeks later the Water utility checked and found the water was still flowing. It became clear that either no work had been done or that the work was inept or that he hadnt checked where the problem really was in the first place. I was forced, after he refused to take my calls, or respond to voicemails, to call in another plumber to fix it. The other plumber was able to hear the flowing water when he arrived, traced it properly, and it is now fixed. Paul claimed to be injured initially in order to put off going back to the property but it is clear from the dates that he was screwing up a job for Gemma while he was tellin me he was supposedly injured. His initial work was not of reasonable or acceptable quality and his avoidance of the necessary rectification work made the situation intolerable. I am now taking him to the small claims court in order to recover my money. Not someone to be trusted.

The water feed to the cistern has a leak, it appears to be above the isolating valve. Pipe comes in appears to be plastic, copper isolating valve then plastic pipe to cistern. Water coming from upper section just above isolating valve, not litres of water just a little seepage...indeed I thought it was condensation.
