I'm concerned about the water pipes in my house, particularly under the kitchen sink. Just recently the washing machine hose keeps blowing off the mains with a bang everytime you flush the toilet in the morning, sending water gushing all over the floor at quite a force. I thought the pressure maybe a little too high so I have tried restricting the flow by turning the screw on one of the ball valves (no difference). Further along the pipe network at the base is a brass tap (stopcock?) which I have turned up a full rotation to restrict the pressure but then I started hearing a loud banging in the pipes when turning the hot water tap on up in the bathroom so I have adjusted it back. Don't know what else to try. I don't want to come home from work one day to find a pipe,valve,joint has burst and I'm walking in an inch of water
brilliant! was quick, reliable, fair price, didn't un necessarily lengthen the job. Just a good, honest bloke who did a proper job. Will continue to use
