am an old aged pensioner and I have the new parts and tried to fit them. The pop up bath waste leaks and requires refitting or sealing - I have not used any sealant apart from to the top side to the bath. Although the new toilet cistern valve is fitted without leaks, I cannot get the last part fitted to it. Both jobs are easily accessible and can be done anytime - with little notice. Remove existing shower mixer and fixed spray head. Fit new replacement and pump via new copper pipe supply via loft with pipes cut into wall descending into bathroom. Make good resulting damage to cornice and affected tiles (24 8"x4"). Make new connections to hw cylinder and cw tank to pump. Tiles already available. Customer to supply pump and shower kit (subject to advice on choice) unless contractor can equal cost price. Customer willing to remove tiles and replace (except 4 around valve/mixer) Contractor to supply approx 50m of copper pipe, brass fittings, 2 isolators and pipe insulation. Electrics available near hw cylinder, which also has 1/2" fitting supplying another pumped shower. Working headroom generally good but restricted at wall where descending pipes have to be cut into wall. Contractor must be a fully insured, professionally qualified plumber with good experience as advice on system and kit will be required.
