Water inlet valve on toilet needs replacing. I've tried to repair myself with new fitting but have a constant dripping that I cannot stop.

Updated : Two pipes leave the backboiler and travel up to the hot water tank. They are connected directly. Original : We need an old backboiler disconnected from a fireplace and the pipes capped off so we can potentially reinstall back boiler in the future. Everything is exposed and should be very straightforward. The drain tap is visible. If possible do this job on Friday 16th November
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stuart Hesk. Once he arrived (on time) we quickly realised the job was a bit more tricky to do than we had thought. He worked out the best way to complete it and worked longer than he expected to, to get it done. He made sure our heating system was fully working before he left. Very polite and friendly, his workmanship was high quality. Good value too.

The washer in my bath's mixer tap has finally broken and as it has been fixed before I am told that the tap may need replacing. I live in an area with a high concentration of chalk and am told that I need ceramic washers(?). The water is coming out of the tap in a light stream and I cannot reduce the flow, so this is fairly urgent.
