I need a plumber to fit a new power shower to existing plumbing. I have removed the old shower and attempted to fit the new one, however, on turning the water back on the hot pipe leaks. This pipe is fractionally longer than the cold, left like this by the previous plumber who installed the last shower. Nothing else is needed, just fitting the main unit, the existing shower head holder will be reused as the whole bathroom will be retiled next month. In order to keep costs down, if you do not have a Brighton and Hove "Traders" parking permit, I can give you a zone Z day permit for free. If I can not answer your call, please leave a message and I shall call you back as soon as I can.
I required a plumber quickly, S.E. Plumbing could attend that afternoon, then half an hour after their ETA they cancelled via email. They attended the following day, fitted the shower as required but did not fit the plastic insert to cover the electrical wiring, leaving it exposed. The pipe ends I purchased the day before to enable the water to be turned back on were taken 'accidentally' by S.E. Plumbing and despite promises of their return by post, nothing has been returned over a month later.

I currently have a power shower which I need to change as it drips water, therefore I am thinking about changing it as they seem to only last 2-3 years. I am considering the possibility of having a pump fitted to enable me to have a gravity fed shower fitted into the same space. The hot water comes from an immersion cylinder and the cold from a water tank in the loft directly above the shower cubicle.
