"While I can see that most reviews are positive, I'm afraid my review has to be absolutely damning as that's the only way I can accurately describe how poor Andy's attitude has been since 'completing the job'. We paid up in full including a few hundred extra (£2350 in all) to cover Andy's unexpected costs: all on trust. As far as I'm concerned we were perfect customers. There was no mention of the splashback that he forgot to fit or that the place was a bit messy when he left. After all, nobody's perfect. Unfortunately, shortly after, I noticed that the radiator service valve in the bathroom was leaking. I phoned Andy to come and have a look at it and also to return our key. I got a vague non-committal "I'll have to see when I can fit you in". This dragged on for about four months, at which point my partner rang to see if she would have any better luck. She was told that she was talking nonsense and that the valve was not broken and that he had told me he'd lost the key (none of which is true). So we've had to have a new lock fitted. Things went down hill from there, and I emailed him to say I wasnâ??t happy with the way he had spoken to my partner. His reply was just pointless and rude: "I did also tell you that I had mislaid your key if I was you I'd start eating some meat-might help the brain cell" Firstly, I'll not be taking nutritional advice from Andy (nor should you). As for the obviously damaged radiator. His reply was: "I have no idea if it "worked" before or not". For the record, it worked fine before. Apparently paying £2350 isn't enough to buy a basic level of service now, or even for someone to be polite. Andy is pleasant when he comes to quote. He'll probably do a reasonable job, but will cut any corners available and may leave the place in a mess. As soon as you've parted with your cash, however, don't ever expect to see him again or your front door key. Instead you can look forward to months passing, rude obnoxious emails and him never coming round again no matter what goes wrong with the work. "
