Job To install a power shower in an upstairs bathroom. To replace an existing electric 7.5 KW shower with say a Mira or Triton thermostatic shower. Hot water tank is in airing cupboard which is next to the bathroom and will need to go up into the loft then down into the bathroom max 15 foot run. Cold water comes from mains at present and needs to come from the header tank which is 2 feet away from existing pipe.

Job 1. Kitchen sink is blocked further down the pipe, one plumber came and inspect and suspects the part of the pipe running under the wooden floor to the outside drain on the other end of the house may be sagging and recommends a new pipe to be attached to the sink that runs immediately out the kitchen wall along the boundary of the house towards the drain. 2. Downstairs toilet has difficulty flushing, may need syphon system to be replaced as it is rather old. 3.Downstairs toilet sink tap getting stiff and sometimes leak a few drops of water from time to time, may need replacement. 4. Upstairs electric shower needs replacing, shower unit already bought, same make and kW.

Comment James and Jim were friendly and courteous, did a good job from the quote all the way to completing the work and more. They were accommodating in overcoming an unexpected problem, and also return promptly after the job was done to fix a very minor leaky bracket even on a Sunday! Quote was the best I received from others and service before, during, and after job done was excellent. Will not hesitate to use them again and will recommend to family and friends. Budget Under £1,000

Job Patch and water drips from downstairs ceiling. Bathroom and en suite above. Ceiling feels very damp and cracks with drips starting to appear.

Comment First time of using Osborn plumbing and Gavin found what was causing our leak whereas others hadn't. A little pricey but most plumbers are! However, he spent time finding the problem and has repaired some already to a good quality, so happy to pay. Will definitely be calling on him again for any other plumbing needs. Mrs Claire
