"The above named workman agreed to carry out a repair job following a leak from my bathroom to the kitchen having been introduced by Rated People and he collected a cash deposit of £250 in the presence of my wife, a family friend and our two children since 24th June 2008 he did not produce an invoice because he claimed had ran out of invoice which he promised to forward later to my e-mail address, but up till today you he did not carry out the job and despite several attempts to rectify the situation. I forwarded an initial letter to him indicating that if he failed to carry out the job, I will be forced to contract the job to someone else and later wrote to him demanding the £250 deposit, but all he could come up with was that he would sue me to court for slander. As it stands two months running I have not heard from him and he has failed to return my £250 deposit paid to him, which I strongly believe he has made away with."
