Budget Under £250

Job Twin impeller pump in loft is used to power shower, sink and WC. It has recently developed what can only be described as pulsing or jamming noise ONLY after WC is flushed as if there is a problem getting water into or through it. This does not happen when the sink taps or the shower is turned off after use.

Comment We had a problem with a shower pump which John resolved despite the original plumbing being rather complex. He tackled difficult pipework with no mess and no fuss. He also resolved an additional problem with airlocks in the system and replaced a part in the cistern to ensure all was well. I would highly recommend John and would use him again if the need arose. John

Job Looking to get a Vitodens 100 condensing combi-boiler recommissioned. It has run before but been off for over a year while I've been abroad. The electrics are good but think there may be an issue with the pressure vessel as it drops off pretty quickly.

Budget Under £1,000

Job I live in a tenement flat and the water tank in the loft has died. I need this tank disconnected and a new tank supplied and installed. The tank is only to feed one property in the bulding and I am told the best tank to use is the coffin tank. I am looking for quotes for the job however, won't be contactable by phone until after 8pm on Wednesday evening however, I am available all day Thursday and Friday.

Job Had a new washing machine delivered. The delivery guys were meant to install the new machine, but when they tried disconnecting one of the water inlet pipes feeding into the machine, I think it was the hot water pipe, the pipe dripped a fair amount of water, and then hey told me the connector was jammed and that they didn't want to risk forcing it off, and risk flooding the kitchen, especially since the red shut-off valve had broken off. They suggested getting a plumber in. The new machine only needs a cold water inlet connection.
