Reviews of Plumbers in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
4 July 2013
Property is 5 bedroom end terrace. Easy ladder access apart from to 1 hopper. Job is:-
1. All gutters and hoppers cleared 2. All gutters assessed for leakage etc. and advice given on whether this could be causing damp (and what to do about it). 3. One known small repair (I think) to a gutter end 4. Fascia board painting as required 5. Advice on 'problem' hopper, specifically clearing and capacity (it has been overflowing and causing exterior discolouration).
Additionally, ideally the tradesman would also be able to quote for and make paint and other repairs to make good the damage done by overflowing hopper, though this may involve additional expense and should not form part of this quote.
Carl was helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. Would use again.
It is a business premises, we have a leaking trap/over flow in our mens toilets that may be a result of a partially blocked pipe.
John did a great job in fixing our plumbing problem which turned out to be the result of a rather clogged up pipe. It was a small job but was done efficiently for a fair price as quoted beforehand so I am happy to recommend him to others. Thanks.
room will need some enlarging, a new back plasterboard wall to site toilet. outside to brick up what was a coal storage area and neccessary small sink plumbing and toilet outlet to existing waste downpipe.house is 1940 era
Wayne came and looked at the job. He gave an immediate (5 minute ) quote on the back of his business card. When I later requested over the phone a written quote detailing the work to be done I never heard another word. You may form your own opinion as to this. Mr R Durn
Kitchen of new home has plumbing for dishwasher but I wish to put washing machine in kitchen also, next to dishwasher, in place of a kitchen cupboard, so some pipework will need to be added. The proposed location for the washing machine has water stopcock in cupboard, so not sure if this will be a problem as will still need access to this.

Leaking plastic waste pipes under sink leaking from joints
The plastic pipes under the sink have been dismantled many times to clear blockages due to accumulated food waste. I think they need to be replaced, preferably with something that will allow future blockages to be cleared easily, without the need for continuously dismantling the pipes. I would also like a radiator temporarily disconnected to allow me to remove tiles behind it.
The source of the leak is visible
The source of the leak is easily accessible
Unsold lead, updated details: The shower is leaking big time. There is no evidence that this is through poor grouting. It might be pipework behind the tiles, or it could be the waste. Both are inaccessible.
I am happy to consider total refurbishment, new shower tray, screen and tiling to fix the problem. Original: Leaking shower This a shower that is leaking water possibly behind the tiling. The source of the leak is visible The source of the leak is not easily accessible

Pipe work is already in place Customer rents this property but is authorised to make changes
We have the original concrete/finlock guttering on the front and rear elevations of our semi-detached house. These appear to be failing in places as there is damp ingress at wallplate level within some of the first floor bedrooms. We'd be looking for removal of existing guttering and replacement with a suitable guttering system. Customer owns and lives at this property
Dripping taps in kitchen even though washers have been changed and a dripping overflow in the toilet
