Budget Under £500

Job split our gutter from our neighbours and install a new down pipe please note we are on 3 floors also clear out the gutters in our quadrangle please note we have a net to stop pidgeons and this would require taking down and putting back once the gutters have been cleared

Job My hot water system is working perfectly but the radiators aren't heating up. I have bled all radiators but that didn't help.

Job Need a service on our boiler to get the thermostat to work! boiler is a Worcester combi. We are also looking to replace two radiators in our living room and dining room - currently single with fins - and cut down on wall space required. Quotation will be required in the first instance

Budget Under £100

Job The power shower has not been used for sometime. Recently the shower was used and this caused a leak in the hallway downstairs. The water has been turn off from the mains which has meant the leak has stopped. I am the landlord and I shall be providing my e-mail address. The telephone provided will be of my tenants as Mike will be able to better explain the issue. Please forward all quotes to the e-mail address provided (i.e. to the landlord)

Comment I have not seen the work myself , as I am the landlord of the property and live aboard. However I have been informed by my tenants that the work was carried out well. Therefore my grading is reflected accordingly. If the need required, I would call Gas Excel Ltd again Mike (our tenant)

Budget Under £250

Job I have a double sink to fit, needs rotating 180 degrees on previous (switch draining board side) with new mixer tap to fit, a leaking shower to fix, and move a couple of pipes under floor boards (about 12" in length) left over in cupbaord where old heating tank system was (now combi boiler). Also need water pressure turned down in shower room.

Comment DJF were the first company to respond to my enquiry, when I spoke to Darren on the phone he was very helpful and professional, explained his pricing and arranged a realistic timeframe for the job to be done the following day. The time subsequently had to be changed due to an earlier job overrunning but he called me 30 mins prior to the new ETA and arrived exactly on time. He located the problem quickly, explained how he would fix it and then did so efficiently, quickly and confidently (even though it was awkwardly located) and is clearly both qualified and experienced. He showed respect for my home (this should be a given but doesn't always happen) and completed the work within the hour. I was very satisfied with the standard of the work, and found Darren both pleasant and professional. I would have no hesitation in using DJF again, or in recommending them to others. D
