Budget Under £250

Job Two radiators in one bedroom need replacing. No under floor pipework is required and no re-location. Both are currently old single panel rads and not working properly, probably due to build up of sediment (bleeding does not improve performance). One of the existing is 1700mm, but would like to replace with a shorter double panel. The other is already shorter and could remain a single panel. Piping supplying them is 10mm.

Comment I would definitely recommed this firm. Turned up promptly at the agred time, and then offered to do the repair there and then. Advised me that a much cheaper and simpler solution was available than the one I had requested,. and this is the kind of honesty which is most valuable in in tradesmen. Budget Under £2,000

Job Full installation of a 3 peice bathroom suite with electric shower over bath. Tiling for the full room and fitting of lino floor. The toilet and sink need moving this affects the toilet waste pipe (but not the section that goes into the ground) and a towel radiator fitting to wall. All bathroom equipment has been purchased.

Comment We chose Tameside Ceramics for our bathroom installation although we had not heard of them previously. They had great reviews and were members of relevant institutes. The quote they gave detailed what work they would do so there would be no surprise costs at the end. August and his grandson completed the work in the time frame given and the bathroom looks lovely. The tiling was in particular done to a high standard. Carol

Job leak under sink, possibly under floor boards. I know this as my meter is going round when no taps are on, and quite fast. I have turned tap off at mains and only turning water on when I need too.
