I would like to replace my gas boiler (20 years old) with a vailiant combi boiler. I live in a big house with 14 radiators
Maguire Gas installed my combi boiler last month and I was very pleased with the service I received.The work was carried out to a high standard and at a very reasonable cost. Ged is hardworking and trustworthy and I can recommend his services.

Switch a 600 x 400 mm double radiator for a 300 x1400 mm radiator.
I have already purchased the radiator
Hung the radiator so that is was sloping on the wall, fixed both brackets on the wall in the wrong position, I had to repair the wall that he had damaged. The thermostat was installed on a 45 degree angle because he had bent the pipe, so I had to insist that he extend the pipe and straighten it. He got oily fingerprints all over the wall so I've had to get the wall redecorated and when he left, he didn't check that the central heating worked, which it didn't because he had forgotten to bleed the pump.

The corner of the bathroom wall appears to have water coming through it. The wall is internal and not attached to an external wall therefore it does not appear to be water from outside, I could be wrong, it could be water seeping from the ground upwards, just need a professional view on it.
Rating this upon the possibility that this tradesman cracked/damaged my toilet which caused a further leak and eventually having to replace the toilet completely!
In hindsight, I should have watched over him but as the fault was at a rented property, I was not present at the time but a second plumber confirmed the toilet had recently been cracked as the seal used to cover/mask the crack was relatively new, tenant also claimed this water leak was after plumber had left! For those reasons I won't use again

Replace toilet and sink basin.
Mack came round and gave me a quote for replacing my toilet and sink basin. The quote was accepted and Mack agreed to do the job today ( 31st January 2012. ) He arrived on time and did a fantastic job after he finished he collected all the rubbish and left the work area clean and tidy. I would recommend him 100 % I will be using Mack for all my future plumbing requirements.

I have had new bathroom and tiling installed. I had a new shower placed with a concealed mixer. The water flows out but it is not hot. The water from the bath taps works perfectly. House is in Rochdale Lancs
Was very transparent with pricing. Easily fixed my problem and even had time to correct 2 seperate unrelated problems! Would use again.

Updated : New installation by replacing old boiler Original : Looking for a corgi registered boiler installer. Current boiler is glow worm hideaway. Looking to have a valiant ecotech plus system boiler 637 or similar installed. Must be a system boiler as do not want a combi. Brickwork will need to be carried out on old boiler as has a square box vent at moment. We have 25 radiators. Some small, others large, have width of all if required.
