Handle and ball cock fixing inside toilet cistern is wearing out and probably need replacing. It becomes loose and then the cistern fills until it overflows inside the toilet bowl. It is mainly made of plastic. It might just need a small replacement.
Timing: ASAP
Mr Ridings was punctual very pleasant and soon sorted out the problem. When he had finished he tested everything to make sure that there were no leaks. I highly recommend Mr Ridings Plumbing Servces to anyone who needed a reliable plumber.

Rik was extremely helpful and went out of his way to provide information to help in the choice of fittings for the bathroom. The price for the work was the best and the quote the most detailed. Unfortunately at present due to personal reasons I cannot start the work yet but when I am ready I would not have any hesitation in using Rik for the work.

I have a leak from underneath my bath hot water tap. Not sure if it's because the nut holding the pipe to the base of the tap is loose or because water is running back along the tap then between the tap and the top of the bath because the seal has gone - or both.
In any case, I want to replace the taps with new ones - I've seen ones I like in B&Q. They are separate versions (rather than mixer tap)
Eventually, want to replace my bathroom suite - hopefully moving the bath out from the wall about 6inches so I can have a shelf for glass of wine or cup of coffee while having a soak - as well as shampoos, bath oils etc.
One problem is that I love my present tiles and they are no longer available so need to be sure that the existing suite can be removed without damaging them - or, possibly, having some contrasting tiles where this is unavoidable.
I am happy for someone to give me a quote for both jobs (1. fitting the new taps and 2. completely redoing the bathroom); redoing the taps is certainly the most urgent as the leak needs sorting first before it does any significant damage).
Replaced taps and toilet flush and installed valves; slight problem with a leak from one of the joints - but that was resolved the day after reporting it in spite of it being a Sunday; can't ask for better. Recommended

there is a gas tap on a gas pipe which needs moving to make room for a dishwasher. Kitchen is a new build
This gentleman was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. This was only a relatively small job. He did the work quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use him again.

The flexible part of the pipe looks like it may need to be replaced as it is leaking at the join with the solid part of the pipe.
Thanks very much, unfortunately the problem was bigger than expected and wasnt fixable straight away, so they isolated the problem area and didnt charge for the call out as they werent able to complete the job. Polite and friendly plumber.

The outside drain pipe from the bathroom basin has broken and the outisde pipe from the kitchen sink has also broken.
Andy was polite and understood the need not to unsettle my elderly dad. The work was carried out promptly and no mess left behind. Would definitley use

Need a replacement toliet fitted. I accidently broke the ceramic lid to my existing 5 year old loo and have been unable to find a replacement lid since it carries no branding.
Unless someone can help me find a replacement lid(!), I need a quote for the cost of replacing the entire toilet therefore. I will purchase the toliet separately, so quote just needs to be for the cost of installing the new one and disposing of the old one. I'll probably replace it with something similar to what I have already, such as this:

I have a double tank in the boiler with separate electrical switches for the immersion for each. I used to use one tank only but the electrical switch for that tank jammed so I started using the other immersion. But now it's not heating up the water properly so we need help!!!
