Job I have a lead pipe (not sure of weight) main water feed into the house which sticks up through my kitchen floor to the water meter (meter is on 15 mm copper - a piece of copper pipe has been inserted and brazed into the lead pipe many years ago). I am changing the layout of the kitchen appliances (which are not installed yet). What I want is for this lead pipe to be cut down below the floor boards (I have a 1930's semidetached so the floor is a suspended wooden floor). The lead pipe should be leadloc (or similar) to 15 mm copper and for the main pipe to be run under the floor boards to the adjacent wall (2 metres away). I want the water meter to be moved to this new position and re-connected, above the flooring, to the main. The floorboards are already lifted and the room is currently empty due to extensive renovation, thus access to the pipes above and below the flooring is unrestricted. I was going to do this myself however time restrictions have not made it possible therefore I would want this to be done ASAP. Cheers.
