I am looking for a plumber with experience in Crosswater shower valves who will be able to both check the cold feed pressure and if required fit a pressure reducer valve, if this is the actual problem and return our shower to the properly functioning shower it once was. Following the recent replacement of both the thermostatic valve (crosswater CP0000250) and NRVs (crosswater WL1000RC) in our recessed 3 control shower valve due to losing temperature control we have recently lost hot water again to the shower whilst still having hot water to the basin. I have temporarily reduced the cold water feed to the shower with the lever under the bath and this has allowed us to get a degree of hot water to the shower but have very little control over temperature, the thermostatic valve doesn't feel like its doing anything. I have had a plumber in who scratched his head and suggested I spoke to the shower valve manufacturer Crosswater which I have done and their analysis of the problem was that the cold water pressure could be too high and we may need to fit a pressure reducing valve. We have also encountered loud chattering within the shower valve Other Useful Information: 1 bedroom flat with combination boiler (Worcester Bosch greenstar 25si)
Whilst Mike was a little late he did contact me to let me know he was running late. He fixed our problem and even though it took longer than anticipated he only charged what he quoted. Thoroughly nice guy who I would recommend to friends.

There are two things that I need looking at, one is the boiler which isn't working properly. It's an electric boiler and seems to be heating only a small amount of water at a time. The second thing is simply a blocked toilet, which hasn't responded to off the shelf chemical solutions. This is in a small one bedroom flat in Oval. Many thanks, Baz
I had an electric boiler that wasn't working properly and a blocked toilet. I was contacted by James from MJT who quoted a very fair price, which I agreed to. He arrived promptly and managed to do both jobs quickly, to a very high standard and within the agreed price. There is a small leak coming from the hot water pipe in the WC. The amount of water coming out is not significant or noticeable per se to the naked eye but over a couple of hours a small puddle tends to appear. The pipe is exposed but is behind the lavatory.
I'd really recommend Install Plumbers. On time; excellent value; efficient service. I'd happily use them again.

A leaky pipe going into the toilet cistern and a rather blocked bathroom sink that is draining slowly. The sink is on a ceramic pedestal that makes access to the pipe underneath difficult.
Andrew responded quickly to my ad, came the next evening, and after getting a part, fixed it the following evening and threw in a free handle too. I would definitely use him again.

The flat is on the 2nd floor.

The quality of the work completed was good. It however cost a lot more than I had bargained for and had a lot more layers than I expected. The plumber and carpenter and manager were all polite and professional. I was given advice on what future works I will need to do. All in all I was satisfied and happy with my new bathroom thanks to Rapid24!

Has had the incorrect powder put in so there is power to the machine, it turns on but it doesn't start. Need advice on shower hose and how to replace possibly.
