URGENT & EMERGENCY JOB! I've just noticed leak in the lounge ceiling which seems to be coming from beneath the bathroom. I think the surrounding bath tiles need to be removed to investigate.
Despite being called out at the eleventh hour, Neil turned up for an emergency leak job on time and enthusiastic to locate the problem and fix it. He was punctual and reliable and not only fixed the leak but managed to sort out other underlying problems too to prevent damage in the future. He's polite, calm and totally trustworthy. His rate is reasonable and I will definitely use him in future and recommend him to people too. Thank you!

Two issues arising from DIY fitting of a new 1.5 bowl kitchen sink yesterday. 1) Stopcock (old fitting) isolating cold water supply to kitchen tap is now leaking terribly. Probably needs replacing. 2) Cannot figure out the waste pipe arrangements for the new sink. Lots of bits supplied but it's beyond me.
Called in help after fitting a new kitchen sink and being completely flummoxed by the waste pipe connections. Edwin at Grip Plumbing was on the phone within minutes of my placing the ad, and round to look at the job very soon afterwards. The job proved to be particularly tricky and he and his mate spent most of the day with me to get it sorted to a very high standard. Both guys thoroughly nice, very professional, and more than happy to explain what needed to be done and why. Will definitely use again.

I have replaced a radiator after decorating and there does not appear to be any hot water in the input pipe. I need an emergency repair tomorrow (Monday 12th) as the carpet is being fitted on Tuesday.
My job involved diagnosing an issue with my central heating where there was no hot water going to one of the radiators. John identified the problem and returned a week later to replace one of the TRV's for an additional charge. He was late on both occasions but I was pleased with the work performed and would definitely use John again.

I was away on business while the bulk of the work was being carried - but on my return, they had done a superb job, cleaned up after themselves and overall, very pleased with the job done. I am looking to have some radiators moved/installed in two rooms in our house. In the through lounge, I would like to move one of the existing rads to under the bay windows from the adjoining wall. The new rad will be 400x1000. I would also like the other rad in the room replaced (not moved). In the master bedroom, I would like the existing radiator moved to under the bay window (from the adjoining wall) and also install another rad under the other windom in the room (along the same wall as the bay window). The house is a mid-terraced Victorian with wood floorboards. There is carpeting which is being removed and replaced after the rads are moved/installed. The boiler in the house is a Valliant combi boiler. I am looking to install Kudox Type 22 rads and Danfoss TRV valves. I wil supply the rads and valves. We are looking to have the work done the week of 20 May.
