Hi, We appear to have a leak from our central heating system, which has led to damaged plasterboard. I need someone to find the leak & repair pipe. As water was coming through the ceiling (I have now turned off central heating system & no water is coming in) access will either need to be made via the (already damaged) ceiling or under upstairs floorboards.
Very polite, cheerful young man who turned up when he said he would, got straight to work, fixed the problem, tested everything & tidied up after hmself. No hesitation in recommending or using in the future.

We need a stop tap fitting on the incoming cold water supply (lead main). There is apparently a stop tap but it's inaccessible under floorboards. There is access to underfloor though via a small trapdoor and the main runs directly under this. We also have a slight leak from where the toilet cistern connects to the bowl - only when flushing. It was this that made us realise there is no stop tap (that we could find). I suppose a stop valve on the cistern filler pipe would be a good idea at the same time if it doesn't cost too much more.
Turned up on time and sorted the job quickly. Saved us money by finding a well hidden stop tap. Unfortunately discovered we needed a new toilet but the work was done quickly and well.
