"James was a tremendous help - he took the trouble to understand what we required, worked out what needed doing and organised everything himself. He was available at any time to talk. He even came out on a Sunday afternoon to ensure that my son was able to take possession of the flat. His rates were very reasonable too. The only fly in the ointment was the painting - it wasn't finished and what had been done was a bit uneven. There were also paint splashes on the floor and a few other places. I could understand if there wasn't time to complete the painting included in the estimate, due to the other work that emerged as the week went on, but it should not have been rushed. That's the only reason I have given 7/10 for quality; everything else (plumbing, carpentry, general repairs) was excellent."
