I was having a shower today and the water went cold. Ever since this the red light on the front of the boiler has been flashing. I have read the "faults "section in the handbook and re set it but the boiler tries to fire up and fails, at first a radiator did heat up but now I cant get the boiler to run at all for hot water or heating. Its a Worcester 28 Si II
Terry contacted me quickly and arranged to call round to view the job, he was prompt and knowledgeable. He fixed my boiler that morning despite having to collect parts, which he managed to get a discount on for me! I would highly recommend Terry to anyone needing help with their plumbing and heating.

TOILET CISTERN NOT SHUTTING OFF WATER CONSTANTLY GOING DOWN THE OVERFLOW PIPE Low level cistern, top push-button flush system (bought Homebase approx 8 yrs ago). No external leaks, but when toilet flushed, cistern continues to refill, overflowing into toilet bowl.
Alan phoned me to arrange a visit and arrived on time. He was very polite and once he had diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate of cost, which was very competitive. He had to go to a plumber's merchant to buy the faulty part and once he had explained the cause of the problem, fitted the part promptly. Alan was cost conscious and keen to avoid replacing parts unnecessarily, which is useful to know if you are on a tight budget. I would recommend him for plumbing work as he sorted out this particular problem in a highly efficient manner.

Small leak from central heating pump needs urgent fix. Pump not always circulating when thermostate calls for it. Not sure is Pump is faulty or selector valve is not opening properly. Thermostates succesfully triggers light on valve for hot water and central heating but occationally the radiators do not heat up. Not sure if pump is circulating or not but when speed selector is moved the pump seems to kick in!
