Job Repair one leaking toilet and check two others that aren't flushing well. All original to house (built late 70s). We'd like the work doing tomorrow (Wednesday 30th) please. Timing: ASAP

Comment I can only say great things about Andy. He quoted the job quickly and accurately. Came and did the job as we discussed. Due to issues not of his doing, he had to split the job up, coming back two different times to work with another vendor to ensure the entire job was done to the way we wanted. Even came out on a bank holiday to finish it for us, and had to run to Wickes to get the right part. I would recommend Andy to anyone, and will have him back when we need him. Excellent! Terri

Job Two bathroom flat. En suite bathroom toilet seat broken from base unit. Needs new seat and lid and fitting.

Comment Home services called me very soon after I posted the job. He first suggested I go out and buy the toilet seat but eventually agreed to buy it himself after I provided pictures and measurements. To be fair he agreed to come and fit it that evening, but the toliet seat was a very cheap budget seat and he fitted it in less than ten minutes and then charged me £80. I asked for a receipt which he said he would email after I gave him my email address but weeks on after several texts and a voicemail I have never recieved a receipt despite paying VAT. Personally I would not use again. POOR Philip

Budget Under £100

Job Hello, I have found that my kitchen drain is blocked. Since last few weeks water from the washing machine (rinse cycle) ends up in my kitchen sink. Then it takes a few minutes to drain away. I have used standard products like 'Mr. Muscle' 3 times so far, but there is no difference. I live in a ground floor apartment in a council building and council maintenance is certain that the problem is within in my apartment and not in the main drainage because the drain in the bathroom has no problem whatsoever. Job we are upgrading our downstairs cloakroom includint replacintg the wash basin and toilet . Unfortunately the dimensions / connections have changed and need to be replumbed to fit,

Comment Jim is very professional. He was also a big help with ideas for improving the structure of the toilet walls to accommodate the changes in sanitary ware design inherent in its modernization and to make subsequent retiling easier On appointment he promptly started the job by reorganising the plumbing and leaving the toilet ready for tiling. Unfortunately the first tiler withdrew after 3 days. Jim was most understanding and flexible, even trying to find us another tiler. When eventually the tiling was done he quickly came and successfully completed the work He treated our home as though it was his own by tidying up as he progressed and clearing up afterwards. He is also quite competitive Hence I can confidently recommend JKPlumb/Gas Noel at Northwood Noel

Job The washing machine hose and pipe is leaking badly and also another tube I'm not sure about. Predominantly it is the washing machine outlets (cold water) that are a problem. Competitive please!
