I need a number of jobs looking at and am hoping to get them done together. Firstly, I currently only have bath and would like a shower putting in above the bath. As an electric shower would require a number changes to my current electricity setup I was hoping to avoid this. The hot water pressure is sufficiently low that I would require a pump of some sort and have previously been recommended a Mira Event but would be open to advice. Bath and sink taps will need changing too. Then I’d also like a small radiator in the bathroom changing to a towel rail. I am also looking to get plumbing for a slim-line dishwasher fitted in place of a cupboard.
Clear and helpful from the outset. Helped us work out what we needed to do with the job and what options would work best. Having been messed about in the past we were very pleased to have someone so upfront with us.

A blocked sink in kitchen AND a washing machine that needs plumbing in. Note, the boiler is currently plumbed in to the waste pipe, and there is no waste pipe for the washing machine at the moment, this will need adding OR the pipe for the boiler waste will need splitting.

Remove old radiator , and supply and install new radiator in new position approx 8 feet away from old one. First part of job is URGENT - to be done Thursday 28th or Friday 29th June if at all possible. To involve removing old radiator from wall and approx 8 feet of exposed pipe work and cap pipework off where it emerges from wall. The room is then being dampproofed. Once dampproofing is complete, new vertical flat panel radiator is to be installed in new position. This will probably involve a small amount of new pipe work.
Darren was polite and friendly and very quick to reply to my initial enquiry on Rated People. He seems to have done a really thorough job and spent time making sure it was finished to a high standard. A few discrepancies about starting times, but Darren was very approachable and quick to apologise for any misunderstandings! I would be happy to use him again.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : Main bathroom is approx 3 metres by 2 metres. I will remove all tiles. I need the bath, sink and WC removing and replacing with a standard white suite. I will source these items before hand. I also need a fixed shower putting in - gravity fed is fine. Finally in this room, I would like the radiator replacing with a towel type radiator. For the ensuite, again I need the WC, sink and the shower cubicle replacing. Radiator can remain. Finally, there are small leaks coming from the connections to the radiators in the living room (two radiators), dining room, (one radiator) and a leak from the inlet pipe to a toliet in the utility room. These are small leaks and have been fixed temporarily by putty but will need to be sorted. The house was built circa 1994, so the plumbing is not too old. As mentioned, the boiler was replaced a couple of years ago. Original : Refit of small bathroom and an en suite room. 1994 built house. New boiler last year and radiators can't cope. Leaking from valves in living room, dining room and utility. Not major drips so have done a temporary fix.

Instead it is a right hand 700standard bath. 550 standard basin and close coupled toilet. With towel rail. Tiling doesn't have to be included as we could get tiler seperately. Please quote cost. Thanks Original : We would like a price on fitting a quadrant shower enclosure, mixer shower, roll top bath, basin, close couple toilet and towel radiator. Also to remove our existing old bath, toilet, basin and radiator. To tile where the shower enclosure is, around the bath and basin. If possible to plaster walls that are not to be tiled, fit new light - includes moving position of light from in front of window to centre of ceiling.

We live in a 12 year old house with a regular boiler. Since we moved in a couple of months ago the hot water taps have always been scalding hot, with or without the hot water tank switched on. The boiler also makes "clunking" noises every now and again. We'd like to get a combi installed but reckon the cost will be too high so looking for a repair.
