Budget Under £100

Job I need a set of bathroom sink taps replacing. The current ones are loose at the base and stiff on the tops making it difficult to turn the taps off. I will have the replacement taps but need someone with the right tools to do the job. The property is less than 5 years old so I believe all the piping is plastic.

Comment The tradesman arrived 5 hrs later than we had agreed. I had to phone them several times throughout the day to enquire where they were and they kept assuring me they were one their way. When the tradesman arrived he was polite and apologetic but unfortunately I had to call him back because the tap that had been replaced was leaking considerably. To be fair he returned straight away and tried to correct the problem but I found myself having to undo and re-tighten the tap again after he left to stop it leaking Lisa

Job My bathroom has a macerator that serves the toilet and the bath and its gone faulty (again...). The house was extended a while ago prior to me moving in and due to the position of the soil stack a macerator was fitted to the bathroom. I think some of the extension work may have been a bit 'bodged' so I am open to other recommendations as well? When the saniflo went faulty last year I asked a few people their opinion on how feasible it was to put in a proper soil pipe and they said it was possible but difficult and that the easiest solution was to get another macerator which I did. The replacement macerator has now gone faulty and I am loathed to get another and want this solved once and for all.

Comment After several people taking a look at the work and saying they could not do it Martin came along and said it would not be a problem. True to his word he returned dug through concrete, made a connection to the existing drain, installed a new inspection chamber, moved the exisiting pipework, installed the new soil stack and then made connections for the toilet and bath. He tidied up and left everything looking neat. Thanks a lot and I would use Martin again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Andrew
