Ken and his team did an excellent job and we were really pleased to get the work done over the weekend to avoid taking time off work. I was really surprised that by the end of day one the old boiler and cylinder had been removed and new ones installed giing us hot water by the end of the first day with just the central heating to be done the following day. The workmen were tidy, used dust sheets and cleaned and hoovered as they went.

The metal dial / knob I use to turn on my shower has completely seized up. I've tried taking it apart and lubricating it but this has had no effect; whatever the problem is, it would appear to be in the part of the mechanism behind the tiles, which will therefore probably need to be removed for access. Timing: ASAP

I have been advised to install a Megaflo water tank to increase the pressure of the system. The house is fairly spread out and the further reaches radiators do not get much if any heat through them but I believe this would sort that. The house is grade2 listed but I don't think anything structural is required. I have just noticed on the next page it asks for my budget, I don't know the costs involved so pls disregard the amount if it is way out.

Reconfigure pipe work for new boiler in loft Remove tanks if plastic or move and make safe, remove unneeded pipe works. Run new flow and returns and hot and colds from the loft and connect to exsiting system. New controls fitted Take out old hot water cylinder rand and remove unused pipe work. Move two radiators along the same wall in the living room. Flush system with chemicals and refill inhibitor. Gas run to be extended in 22mm from gas meter to loft Condence pipe run to nearest drain or outside to a soak away. Boiler to be rewired by electrician with new programmer and room stat
